Current Team News

Over this past year, I have been co-leading a group of 6 young men and two other dads in studying a book titled "Do Hard Things" by twins Alex and Brett Harris.  The book's theme is intended to help young men see their place in service to others by raising their expectations of themselves.   The authors give example after example of young people who have accomplished remarkable things as young men and women.

Mission Oaxaca's objective is to explore and carry out programs that serve the people and ministries of Oaxaca, Mexico, where challenges include a variety of social, spiritual and economic obstacles. Mission Oaxaca facilitates programs that are designed to improve the physical and spiritual standard of living by addressing need in the following areas:

Foundations in Home Construction
Using construction of floors (pisos) to elevate the safety and health of residents in the landfill communities.

Foundations in Community Transformation
Identifying and Empowering local leaders and equipping them for success.

Foundations in Hope
Meeting Needs of Communities by Sponsoring Education, Work for Hire projects, and Community Outreach to those in need.

Team Senoritas
The Senoritas made five Pisos in four days and participated in the kid's Bible club as well as some clean up projects around the Vicente Guerrero community.
